Here at Morgans Consult, we have teamed up with BOF to create a range of acrylic safety screens to provide protection during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have a long history of working with acrylic for a variety of different purposes, including projects within the office fit out, healthcare, and education sectors. We have expert in-house manufacturing capabilities in our production workshop, using our state-of-the-art CNC routers and laser cutting equipment. Our years of experience have helped us to develop strong supply chains of quality acrylic from both within Europe and from the rest of the world, allowing us to continue manufacturing throughout uncertain periods.
All of our production and manufacturing is carried out by our expert team within our Cardiff workshop where it can be properly quality control assessed. We are accredited with ISO9001, an internationally recognised quality management system, & ISO 14001 environmental management system. Each item is expertly manufactured in-house, quality-assessed, and then delivered and installed where required across the UK by our specialist team.
The outbreak of COVID-19 in the UK led to a lot of uncertainty for many businesses, including our own. We discovered that the unprecedented demand for PPE was not being met, so we began manufacturing and donating face visors to the NHS across South England and Wales. As of today, we have donated over 2500 safety visors to the frontline workers of the NHS. The outbreak also created demand for additional health and safety signage within businesses, with social distancing signs and safety partitions becoming a requirement.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, we were contacted by BOF to supply safety screens that would help prevent the spread of the virus. We soon entered into a partnership agreement with BOF to supply specific solutions that would help with providing protection to the public. These solutions consist of health and safety signage, warning graphics, floor decals and acrylic protection screens.
Our team worked closely alongside BOF to survey different buildings and provide bespoke safety solutions tailored around their individual requirements. We also provided a client-facing consultancy service at the point of enquiry for manufacture, allowing our project management team to closely review the works required and offer advice and guidance. Following the manufacture of the screens, we also provided on-site installation across the UK.
We’ve worked with BOF on a number of projects for public sector buildings in Wales, as well as in universities to facilitate the safe return of students. These universities include Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Swansea, Coventry, Warwick, Wolverhampton, Southampton, Winchester and the University of South Wales, to name just a few. These projects involved the manufacture and installation of acrylic safety screens in reception areas, lecture theatres, computer suites, shops & cafes.
