Sam and Libby Join Andco Studio
We are committed to supporting the next generation of creatives by offering valuable work experience to students eager to develop their skills.
We recently welcomed Sam and Libby to our Andco Studio team, giving them the opportunity to shadow our professionals and enhance their graphic design portfolios. This immersive experience allowed them to gain real-world insights and refine their craft, contributing to their growth as budding designers.
We believe that investing in upcoming talent not only benefits them but strengthens our creative community.

Grace Joins Morgans Consult
Morgans was pleased to host Grace, a work experience student currently studying Advertising and Brand Communication at Manchester Metropolitan University. During her two-week placement, Grace made meaningful contributions to our social media strategy, capturing, and creating content for several key projects we were working on at the time. She displayed a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of how to communicate effectively through visual content, helping to showcase our work in a compelling and professional manner. Her ability to quickly grasp the nuances of our projects and reflect them through content was impressive.

In addition to her content creation, Grace demonstrated excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude, always seeking new ways to support the team. Her approach to each task was both thoughtful and thorough, ensuring that the work we shared with our audience was high-quality and aligned with our brand. It was clear that Grace is developing a strong foundation in the advertising and brand communication field, and we were pleased to be part of her journey.
As she approaches her final year at Manchester Metropolitan University, we wish Grace all the best in her studies and future career. We’re confident that her talent, drive, and professionalism will serve her well as she continues to grow in the industry, and we look forward to seeing her future achievements.
Supporting University of South Wales Interior Design Students
We are excited to share that we recently had the privilege of collaborating with the University of South Wales (USW), assisting their third-year interior design students in creating a live brief for their competition and exhibition module. This partnership gave students the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world scenarios, with a focus on enhancing visitor experience through wayfinding, branding, and signalling. Our brief challenged students to consider how these elements can shape a space, guiding users and creating meaningful experiences.

The interior design course at USW equips students with the knowledge and expertise needed to thrive in the design industry, nurturing them into creative, considerate, and professional designers. The program emphasizes the importance of user experience and wellbeing, while also fostering a mindful approach to the environment, ensuring that students are prepared to make a positive impact on both people and the planet.
To further support the students, we recently welcomed them to our headquarters for a special session. During their visit, they had the chance to learn more about Morgans’ offerings and the types of projects we engage in. The students also had valuable one-on-one time with our in-house design team, who provided guidance and advice to help them navigate their module and course, ensuring they felt supported in their journey.
We look forward to seeing the creative solutions the students come up with and hope this collaboration continues to inspire and shape the next generation of interior designers!

Donations to Arts and Crafts Departments
We are committed to ensuring that we avoid any unnecessary waste, especially if it can help our local community. One of the ways we contribute to the community is by donating materials from our workshops to local schools, helping to inspire creativity while minimising waste.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting several educational institutions with materials that would otherwise have gone unused. Two standout donations that exemplify our commitment to sustainability and community involvement include our contributions to Ysgol Mynydd Bychan and Ty Gwyn Special School.
For Ysgol Mynydd Bychan, we donated a variety of materials that were used for their end-of-year performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The school’s production required a range of props, set pieces, and creative elements, and the materials we provided helped to bring the fantastical world of Willy Wonka to life. By donating materials, we were able to help students and teachers create a memorable performance while diverting these materials from landfills.
Similarly, Ty Gwyn Special School benefited from our donations of off-cuts and surplus materials for their own creative projects. These donations have supported everything from art classes to school displays, allowing students to work with high-quality materials that they may not have otherwise had access to. It’s always inspiring to see how students turn these materials into something extraordinary, and we are proud to be a part of their educational journey.
‘Student Futures’ Cardiff University Work Experience Placement Scheme
The Student Futures Work Experience team partner with employers across a number of sectors and industries to organise meaningful work experience opportunities for Cardiff University students. Morgans Consult recently partnered with Student Futures to offer placements throughout our design, marketing and manufacturing departments. We’re looking forward to welcoming more students to join our team in the coming academic years.

Supporting Navigation and Inclusivity at Bath Spa University
Navigating university campuses has traditionally been a challenge, especially for newcomers. To address this, Bath Spa University teamed up with Living Map to create an interactive digital map, now available via the University’s ‘My Bath Spa’ mobile app, website, and onsite digital kiosks. This innovation integrates seamlessly into the University’s digital infrastructure, providing students with a powerful tool to manage their academic and campus activities with ease.
Morgans Consult had previously collaborated with Bath Spa University by setting up mobile temporary billboards across the campus to support wayfinding during open days and freshers’ weeks. With the introduction of the digital map, students and visitors now have access to enhanced navigation assistance both throughout the campus and at their fingertips.

Past Project: Fitzalan High School
We are proud to have collaborated with Fitzalan High School on an extensive project that encompassed their branding, wayfinding, and signage schemes. Our work included the design, creation, and installation of impactful solutions such as murals, monolith directories, vinyl displays, and more. Each element was carefully tailored to reflect the school’s identity and foster an environment that is both welcoming and functional for students, staff, and visitors.

The murals added vibrant visuals that celebrate the school’s spirit and values, while the strategically placed monolith directories and wayfinding signage ensured that navigation throughout the campus was clear and efficient. Vinyl installations provided an additional layer of aesthetic appeal, reinforcing the school’s brand and creating cohesive spaces that inspire and engage. Working with Fitzalan High School’s team on these multifaceted enhancements has been a rewarding experience, showcasing the transformative power of thoughtful design and seamless implementation.

Past Project: St Peter’s Primary School
Our involvement extended across the entire site, where we were tasked with designing, manufacturing, and installing a variety of bespoke solutions. Each element was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the school’s environment, but our standout favourite. The showpiece-stained glass effect window vinyl. This eye-catching feature proved to be a simple yet powerful way to transform the space, adding both beauty and meaning.

The stained-glass effect window vinyl not only brightened the school’s atmosphere but also served as an inspiring reminder of the school’s core values for students and staff alike. By integrating this vibrant visual into the school’s daily environment, we helped create a warm, welcoming space that reinforces positive messages and enriches the educational experience. It’s always a privilege to contribute to projects that blend creativity with impactful storytelling.

Past Project: Cardiff University
We were thrilled to recently collaborate with Cardiff University on their inspiring Student Voice campaign. This remarkable initiative encourages students to voice their ideas on how to enhance their university experience. By transforming these suggestions into vibrant external and internal displays across the campuses, Cardiff University underscores its dedication to fostering an environment where student input shapes meaningful change. The campaign not only highlights the institution’s commitment to listening but also reinforces its proactive approach to continually improving the student experience.
Partnering with Cardiff University’s talented creative team has been a truly rewarding experience. Our role in implementing this campaign across the city of Cardiff allowed us to see firsthand how the university’s forward-thinking ethos translates into action. By showcasing student ideas prominently, we helped bring their voices into the heart of the community, turning feedback into a visual testament of collaboration and progress.
