Requirements
During the UEFA Champions League BT wanted to temporarily brand their building next to the National Stadium of Wales in order to ensure they had brand awareness as a major broadcaster of the iconic sports event.
Result
BT commissioned the installation of a colossal banner to dress an entire elevation of Stadium House, a building that stands proud next to the National Stadium of Wales. Morgans Consult were charged with the development, manufacture and installation of the gigantic banner system taking into account the specific requirements of a telecommunication building of this nature. Having worked closely with the team at BT the install was complete in time for the showcase event where Juventus played Real Madrid to be broadcast by BT. As one of the largest displays of its type ever in Wales, including the 125ft image of locally born international Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, it generated intense public attention and played a large role in the city’s transformation for the main event. The banner displayed tweets from fans and videos of the Champions League journey along with a striking full screen projection that interacted with the printed graphic to provide a striking 50m high screen.
The demands on this project were considerable and its smooth project management ensured all of the client’s requirements were met.
