Cathays Park – Welsh Government Buildings

Brief

We worked with office furniture specialists Bof to create a new, motivational workspace at the Welsh Government building at Cathays Park.

This iconic and historic building in the heart of the Welsh capital, has been the headquarters of the Welsh Government for decades. We worked with Bof to create a modern, inspiring workspace that was easy to navigate, celebrated the city and country the employees represent, and allowed for flexible working options.

Solution

Morgans Consult supplied a range of solutions throught the space. From large format window manifestations, suspended wayfinding systems, wall prints, framed imagery and vinyl-cut lettering and detailing.

Hanging wayfinding cubes, created by our sister company Dipec, clearly mark the separate zones within the space. The Yr Hafod brand is visible throughout the space, and wall wraps help create areas of calm for more casual meetings and break-out working.

Framed prints throughout the space give a consistent approach to showcasing imagery of Wales and its capital city.
